Parishioners move and forget to notify the church?

How much do you spend in returned mail?

The only way most churches have of finding out about address changes is through mail returned to the church, which can cost upwards of $0.63 per mail piece.

Cathedral Corporation is a non-exclusive Limited Service Provider Licensee of the United States Postal Service® providing NCOALink™ service. Use Cathedral's Online Member List Maintenance to maintain your member list and you will also have the functionality of receiving Change of Address Information before your mailings go out.

You will always have the most up-to-date list and control of the list is yours. Once you are informed of a change of address, you can choose to accept the change, not accept the change, remove the member from your list, or do nothing and save it for a later decision.

Q. What does this new address change service cost to the church?

A. Nothing. We will process your list free-of-charge as long as you are a Cathedral online list maintenance customer.

Q. Will I receive any returned mail?

A. While this service will reduce the amount of returned mail you receive, due to the length of time for production of your envelopes and time in transit for non-profit mailing, you may still receive some returned mail pieces. In addition, about 15% of people move and do not provide a forwarding address. If you don't remove members from your list or accept the address change, you may also receive returned mail.
